Its that time of year again and I was reminded of my friend Linda McIntyre's revenge on a stranger that kept sending their annual Holiday Letter to her address even though their Good Friends? had moved and not told them. Tired of this annual intrusion she prepared her own response on seasonally festive paper and sent it to the return address. She never heard from them again. All names are ficticious and any resemblance to your own family is purely accidental. You have my sympathy.

Another year has passed, and once again it is time to send out holiday greetings to friends and family.
It has been a turbulent year for us, starting when JoAnn found a very stiff Uncle Joe in his unheated cabin in upstate New York. Always the stubborn outdoorsman, Joe resisted the comforts of our time until the very end. He will be sorely missed.
Christine had her sixth child last February! Little Anita joins Katy, Mark, Timmy, Barbara, Kim and daddy George in one of the most boisterous households around! Timmy broke his leg doing stunts on his bike, and Katy knocked out both front teeth after falling from a tree!
After much soul-searching, Paul finally had his surgery. Despite some ribbing from her co-workers, Pauline is adjusting well to her new life as a woman. Her sister Diane even wears the same size clothes! Now they can share!
Bob has been on anti-depressants ever since that tree crashed into his garage, starting a fire that destroyed his prized shoelace collection. Helen bought him a few new pairs from K-Mart, but to Bob, it just wasn't the same.
The Madison's are doing well since moving from that townhouse in Mt. Laurel several years ago. They really needed the extra space!
Good News! Steve is out on parole! Francine and Gilbert are so happy to have their father back! Ever resourceful, Steve got his law degree while in jail! Here's to a long and profitable career as a lawyer for Steve!
Alice is in a body cast after being dragged in front of an oncoming truck when her dog spotted the mailman across the street. The mailman had to have 20 stitches to close the gash in his right buttock. He has hired Steve to sue Alice. The dog is fine.
A very busy holiday season is coming our way. We will be spending Christmas Eve in the hospital with Alice, then its on to Iowa to visit Christine and her brood. We will be spending New Years Eve with Pauline and Diane in Pennsylvania, then back to New Jersey for some welcome time alone.
